Quick answers
Will my beat sound worse?
Going to WAV: no, it sounds the same, the file just gets bigger. Going to MP3 or M4A: pick 320 kbps and nobody will hear a difference. MP3 to M4A or back: a tiny bit gets lost, pick 256 or 320.
Is my track safe?
It never leaves your device. No upload, no server, no copy anywhere. Close the tab and it is gone.
M4A is not working
Making an M4A needs Chrome or Edge on a computer. Phones, Safari and Firefox cannot do it yet. Opening M4A files works everywhere.
