Understanding beat samples and full beats
Learn the difference between the beat preview and the full recording.

When you browse beats in the Studio, you see a one-minute sample of each beat. This sample is just a preview to help you find the beat you like. The full beat is longer.
Beat lengths
Once you select a beat and load it into the Studio, you can record over the complete instrumental:
- Free beats: up to 2 minutes 30 seconds of recording time
- Premium beats: up to 5 minutes of recording time
How to access the full beat
- Find a beat that interests you
- Tap Select to load it into the Studio
- Once loaded, you will see the full beat timeline in the recording screen
- You can now record your vocals over the entire beat
You do not need to download beats separately. The full beat loads directly into the Studio when you select it.
