Bro... This gave me chills.. you just brought me back to being 11-12 years old.. discovering hip hop for the first time and being straight mesmerized! Listening to kris Kross, vanilla ice, kid n play and fresh prince on my walk man, to the first time I saw the house party movies and thinking they were the best things in the world! To buying 3 for $10 tapes at the swap meet and being so excited to hear them.. thinking I hope moms lets me play this on the ride home.. to a time when everybody still though the Hammer dance was that shit and ppl actually wore their clothes backwards for a lil hot minute. To dubbing mix tapes and recording my favorite songs off the radio.. To a time that has long been all but forgotten by hip hop, a time I myself had nearly forgotten about. Sincerely, thank you! I needed that. 🙏🏼 💯
