What feels like vision to a lost soul Or like gold to a broke man Where what’s missing ain’t the the want tho But to get up, when we crash land Who take that feeling when it ain’t work Then turned it to the next plan Stood up for the next play Didn’t fold, saw it through like an X-RAY I’m tryna see the light in the dark Try to see the change in a heart Hard to see it plain through the scars And worth akin to purpose, how we rarely seeing ours But we keep on going deeper, just to find out who we are What we needs vision not sight This is me living my life For more than my brothers in Christ More than the people I love For all of the people who fall in my eyes Cause I’m seeing that fight And I see us act blind The want to be right The weight of the truth We all got inside But we often reduce To feel all the comfort Instead of the fruit it produce When we actually move So what can we do When we know it ain’t wise, but we wade in quickly Make my choice, pray a consequence miss me Hypocritical, I get it tho, It’s nothing new If we living, then we living with our point of view But we’d rather be accepted than to tell the truth Like it matters what they think, of what you think is cool Live your vision, not the vision of another dude With the wisdom your decisions may not come from you But the beauty in the beast is that we get to choose Tunnel vision or the vision that’s gon see it through Nothing hit like love when you know none Highs when the lows come Money in the middle of the month when you owe sum Nothing that we getting if we never learn to show up Short cuts, pleasing other people ‘fore our own wants Problem is the policy we putting on our own thoughts Pressure off the people that put it into their own hearts Play pretend it’s perfect knowing we don’t wanna take part But plenty people staying super-superficial And plenty people staying stupid sticking with em But every second aint a second They’re decisions And if you’re honest, you don’t get to be a victim If you mad at what you see then fix the vision But if you don’t because they didn’t And you listened so convinced Of all the times that made you trip Believe the lies we don’t admit Like how “we tried” Then you were tricked And we can try, not say we did To fix what’s underneath the skin So we can see and not forget That truth 1 time for the truth 1 time for the times That the truth had to hide While my pride got to drive 2 times for the change 2 times for the pain That the change came from Cause it gave me the strength 3 times for tomorrow 3 times for the day We can see straight through X-ray Through the rain And I’ll save 1 more for the love that it take To get a soul like mine, to see this through to the gates #LetMeSeeRICHWILL
