Drowning in my sorrows for a better tomorrow Verse 2 It all started when I met my ex Cuban girlfriend Everything was all good without a guess No more stress We began doing drugs back to back living the high life Destroying ourselves Got so out of hand I had to go get some help So I did what I had to do it was up and down We went out separate ways With the drugs she was still wanting to play Then one day Rob calls me that she was dying At the time I was In shock I remember each time we be hitting the block I prayed for you many times in the hospital My life became the opposite of tropical Yvonne died from so many complications in the ICU My life became so alone and blue You are now in the afterlife I’m a natural born star not a rapper or a trapper Living lessons on how my life became such a disaster I pray that all my success shall commence even faster
