THIS IS WHEN I WAS A YOUNG YOUNGIN THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, TIPS ON HOW TO NOT BE STUCK ON CADENCE IS APPRECIATED walking into town im at the parking lot of Pioneer restaurant officer Lopez sees me boy he always has good timing * tells me to wait right their, over the speakerphone im stone cold and ill never forget that stair almost like it was a dare ** im strung out, looking like a clown i start running my escape route his eyes had to have read mine cuz he already flipping around *** flung myself over that 15 foot divider wall like a poll vault made that tall look small no stall and all ball **** landing clean on my feet while he printing rubber to the street im sprinting through those tumbleweed's already sweating we out there in Fernley and hes on a wide weeve CONFINED TO THE STREET trying to close in on me nothing but our thoughts as company thought he got smart though dropped his ego N called for back up over the radio i know because i start to hear the sirens go they wasting gas while im saving my ass cleared that quarter mile in record time i bet even he had a smile to my luck theres a truck I lay down for a while give time for my thoughts and my lungs to reconcile i hear his back up flying by while im on my back looking up at the sky hop up walk fast and casually across the main street into the next area neighboring im on thug mode, the routes already known sprint through that ol dirt road almost to the safe home my lungs pushing my chest, out past my nose i pound on the door push my way in flop down on the floor say thank you i just ran from the cops they ask if that's what the sirens are for i give a smile as i catch my breath didn't take long for my ego and pride to catch up my pants were high as me when i was running now they already saggin and im bragging as i start planning right back to thoughts of drug inducement movements my hand next to my unit my addiction was always the amusement scroll threw my phone you know I'm chick choosen gotta get laid one more time as I get a ride to get me past county line don't give a dam what I leave behind this was me back in the day a cycle I would always perpetuate I changed my life and hung up the reins to you officer Lopez i know longer run the roaches i turned my whole life around you can say you were proud and i appreciate you doing your job and trying to keep my criminality from Fernley aye and from me too
