I’m Don Pilly, raised in the shadows and streetlights of San Jose, shaped by trenches that tried to break me and losses that cut deeper than any blade. I grew up without a father, learned early how cold the world can get, and hit juvenile hall and prison before most people even knew who they were. I lost people I loved, stood in pain alone, and fought through situations that were built to crush me — but I never folded. Every scar became a scripture, every setback sharpened my spirit, and every dark chapter pushed me toward my purpose. My music is my testimony — faith mixed with fire, prayer mixed with pressure. Every bar carries the weight of my past, every verse hits with the hunger of somebody who refused to die in the struggle. I rap so people can feel the journey, the losses, the fight, and know that even in the darkest trenches, God kept me standing and my heart kept swinging.
