The Lord Cares for You

Been where you're at, not sure how to react. Turn to the Lord, He's your biggest friend, sticks closer than a brother when times get bad. This isn't of the Lord, He's crying for you. My prayer is that you turn from sin and lean on Him. He has the power to transform your life. Takes you from a victim to a victor even over night! I pray God renews your strength and one day can say "I've overcame." Robbed of innocence, as a little girl. Three years old, wrestled with womanhood. When my stepdad laid his hands on me, left me naked and alone. Searching for what to do. I kept it inside, the elephant in the room. Over 25 years I kept the secret, always haunting me, for all to see. Driven by feelings, left me in a horrible place, but it got me down on my knees. Became such a disgrace. I was getting nowhere, until I surrendered to the One Who cares. Years flew by in this new walk with Christ. He brought me full circle, back to life. Faced the beginning, when my son turned three. Wrote a letter to my Mom informing her of everything. Not surprised, I didn't get as much as a soft reply. But that burden was lifted as quick as I signed it. Now I love without limits, my bondage was broken. Can carry on with my head held high. Because the Lord helped me through it, I'm no longer bearing the burdens of another inside. Even if it's rejected by my mother. The truth has been set free, I've forgiven and have no grief. The chains have been broken off of me. Know it was the plan of the Lord, He's what's holding me. If it counts for something, just know you're loved. Even in all your grief, choking back tears, you're not alone. The Lord is who cares when things get hard, look up baby girl and know You're never alone. He's holding your hand, ministering to your soul. Letting you know everything's gonna be alright, if you just hold on through the night. Let those tears roll, it's cleansing for your soul. You'll be alright my Sister in Christ, He's got you tonight. Please keep the Faith, one day you'll see the light. Your heart is calling for Him, He's right there, just waiting for you to surrender.
