My legs hurt from these chains I swear it’s messing in my brain These chains are being pulled down by trauma In an ocean this world moving in slow motion These memories are pushing me down and yanking me till I can’t breathe anymore I remember the small details down to what they wore don’t wanna remember no more It’s like a stab with a burning knife to the core how horrible gore don’t wanna remember no more “Don’t wanna remember no more? Then don’t remember no more” that’s not it, I’m my head there’s a big ass war I can’t get closer to the shore only drowning and pushing no one to reassure me of those nice times I can’t even remember the good words they said to me How will I be if I only know of the aggressive I feel oppressed and a mess Pressed because each day I feel less and I wanna feel more but I won’t feel something I don’t wanna feel something nor nothing I don’t wanna be but I wanna be, and I wanna be but I don’t wanna be I know I’m confusing and hard to understand but can somebody just please try to understand that I can’t stand on my own longer when I try I sink down farther and the torture hitting harsher and that harsher hitting harder
