i need to find a safe place a haven from my mistakes i need a break from my destructive self my health in a steady decline fuck im runnin out of time the sand in the hourglass is fading fast faster every day i pray on my knees ask god please have mercy on me Lord i abhore the creature ive become comfortably numb to the sin the lust the drugs every single day at dusk as the sun is setting i be fretting , telling myself i should be doing more i cant afford to let time slip away i need to get it done today theres nothing else to say time flies by so fast have to make every minute last what if tomorrow never comes and i never get to see another sunrise i need to tell my loved ones how much i love them, look em in the eyes say the words i should be sayin daily because lately i havent told them just how much they mean to me its like they only see me when im stressed but honestly im blessed i made a mess of my life but its not to late to make it right its not to late to see the light despite my self doubt im down to turn it all around i like the sound of that im bound to do something right they say the night is always darkest before the dawn the roads long sometimes i make a wrong turn but every journey i learn something about myself i just hope theres still enough time to find the me im destined to be instead of my own worst enemy
