STEVEN KERNEY is a rising force in street storytelling rap, known for crafting gritty, cinematic narratives that dive deep into themes of struggle, betrayal, survival, and redemption. Rooted in raw emotion and real-life experiences, Kerneys blends influences from Kevin Gates, EST Gee, Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Future, and Juice WRLD, shaping a sound that’s both hard-hitting and deeply introspective.
Growing up surrounded by the harsh realities of the streets, Steven developed a sharp understanding of the game—the highs of success, the pain of loss, and the paranoia that comes with both. This perspective fuels every verse, painting vivid pictures of survival, loyalty, and the weight of past decisions. Rather than glorifying the lifestyle, Steven Kerney tells stories that expose its cold truths, giving listeners a front-row seat to the struggle.
With an ear for hybrid flows and a talent for blending genres, Steven Kerney isn’t just another rapper—they’re a storyteller, a visionary, and a voice for those who never got to tell their side of the story. Each track is a chapter, and every album is a novel filled with pain, ambition, and lessons learned the hard way.
Now, with the highly anticipated project "Cold Streets, Empty Promises," Steven Kerney is set to push the boundaries of street rap, delivering anthems that hit like war stories and resonate like confessions. Every song is its own cinematic experience, with layered bars, deep-cut punchlines, and hauntingly real emotions.
This isn’t just music—it’s survival in melody..
