Rozay Daze is a multifaceted artist, producer, songwriter, and engineer with roots in Richmond, California and over two decades of deep musical experience. His journey began at just seven years old, watching his brother — Bay Area–renowned producer Playa Righteous — craft beats and shape records in the studio. That early exposure lit a fire that never stopped burning.
By his teenage years, Rozay Daze was already writing, recording, and performing. While living in Sacramento, he joined a group called Brothaz 4 Life, performing at skating rinks and local events using whatever equipment they could get their hands on — from karaoke machines to makeshift stereo setups. Even then, the music connected. The crowds rocked. The passion stuck.
As he developed, Rozay Daze mastered a wide range of production tools, starting with GarageBand and expanding through Cakewalk, Acid Music, FL Studio, Reason, Pro Tools, and ultimately Logic Pro, where he continues to produce, mix, and master his work today. He later graduated from Pinnacle University, a respected music college in Rancho Cordova, California, further sharpening his technical skillset.
His talent quickly turned professional. Over the years, Rozay Daze signed with multiple independent labels, including Riggamarow Records, Protect Ya Neck, and Gospel House Records. At Gospel House Records, he linked with legendary engineer Kaptain Kirk — known for engineering the iconic track “Pony” by Ginuwine. Under Kirk’s mentorship, Rozay Daze refined his writing, delivery, and overall artistry. Kaptain Kirk embraced him like family, and after Rozay Daze passed 2million streams, Kirk gifted him a diamond Rolex matching his own — a symbol of respect and recognition.
