I've been nice with the pen since I was like 15, 16 — all gas, no brakes.
Back then, I had a homie runnin’ numbers, stackin’ cash, and instead of flexin’ it on chains, we invested in turntables, drum machines, samplers — the whole nine.
We had a lil’ circle — some of 'em wanted to rap, but not all of 'em had the bars to back it.
So I stepped in — ghostwrote for a few, cleaned up verses, made 'em hit harder.
Even one of Timmy’s boys from Ram Squad asked if I’d ghostwrite, but I was just about to step into my freshman year of college.
Looking back, maybe I should’ve laced up and jumped in the ring early — but life got chapters, and timing is divine.
See, I never let go of the craft — I live this lyricism.
Every verse I spit is layered like a 5D chessboard — metaphors, similes, double entendres, you name it.
For the real heads, I lace my tracks with Easter eggs — nods to legends, bars within bars, references that only students of the game will catch.
Like this one line I wrote:
"I'm an AGENT of CHAOS, a VERBAL NAPALM / Droppin' MURDERGRAMS daily — INTELLECTUAL VIETNAM!"
Most will catch the “Murdergram” nod… but that last line?
That’s me paying homage to one of the most prolific emcees to ever breathe life into a mic — a voice of resistance, consciousness over commercial spins.
(If you know, you know… think Def Jam, late ‘80s, group-affiliated.)
I got love for battle rap.
I got love for political bars that rattle the system.
But don't box me in — I got range.
From cipher-killer to poet-laureate, from war-ready to world-builder.
This ain't just rap for me — this is soul alchemy.
