Tipo Palacio, a native of León, Guanajuato, and raised in Chicago, is a multifaceted rapper, songwriter, and performer. He embarked on his musical journey in 2006, making his mark with the release of his debut album, "Urbano," in 2009, produced by Kriminal from Chicago’s South Side. After a brief hiatus and a move to Oregon in 2010, Tipo returned to Chicago in 2012, shifting his focus to family. His comeback in 2018 was marked by the release of new singles like "Canvas" featuring Nate Cruel and "Quick Hitta" featuring Tuna Guez, and performances at iconic venues such as the House of Blues in Chicago. In 2019, Tipo collaborated with North Side singer Arianna Real on the track "Standing Tall." The following year, Kriminal produced his single "Muchos Intentos," intended as a teaser for the postponed album "FirmoFirmeFirma." Continuing his musical evolution, 2021 saw the release of "Motivo" and "Familia de Realeza" featuring X Soto. His 2022 single "Aveces Pienso" showcases his rapid delivery and Spanish flow, contrasted by the chill, mellow vibes of "Soultrain" featuring Bignando and Chronic Deville.
