Robert Bambridge aka 'Murds', was born and grew up in Bracknell, Berkshire. A lifelong music and hip hop fan/artist, Murds
started rapping at an early age, gaining the nickname 'Murda' from his rapping passion.
Needing beats to support his art, Murds turned to producing hip hop beats of his own.
This led to him dabbling in all areas of music creation. Eventually, Murds used these learned skills to finish a self
produced, mixed and 'mastered' mixtape entitled 'Perfekt'. 'Perfekt' can be downloaded for free at ( insert hyperlink).
We will be showcasing some of the tracks over these following weeks in case you missed out on the release.
Having stumbled from passionless job to the streets, and then back repeatedly, Murds has tired of ever decreasing circles.
The latest release, his debut single 'All We Got' is coined by him as the pinacle of his efforts. Combining self-production
with graphic lyrics and honest self reflection, the track represents his leap of faith into the industry.
The track is focused on the struggle faced by close friendships in cut-throat street environments.
It is produced with the intention of showcasing his efforts, publicising to the world the standard of lyricism and
content that is expected by him to consider himself an artist.
This is to be preceeded in a matter of weeks by a 64 bar filmed 'freestyle' named 'Turning Point'. Turning Point is
written with the objective of exhibiting his unusual poetic flair and graphic perspective.
