Money Becomes Me– born Ryan Beasley – is a born and raised St. Louis based rapper/freestyler who is blessed with a quick wit, a unique gift of coming up with flows & freestyles at the drop of a hat as long as he has a good beat. With an undeniable passion for music and a good story to tell MBM is reaching towards turning his hobby into a successful career. His story has not been one of overnight success, but rather a tale of passion and courageous determination to make one's dreams come true. Born to a large family, he was born the 11th child out of 14 which made his upbringing inevitably unconventional. His father was a plasterer/ real estate agent who trained and raced horses in his freetime on top of training and managing his oldest son's (Radford Beasley Jr.) professional boxing career. His mother was a stay at home mom. While he was influenced by his father’s tastes, including artists like Sam Cook, MBM's mom imparted his obsession with 80’s pop music as well, including artists like Michael Jackson. He started writing songs and rapping at 12 and soon realized that his natural ability to come up with freestyles on the fly was a force to be reckoned with.
Determined to take his career to the next level, producing his own music and creating his first album seems like the next logical step in MBM's progression as an artist.
