Discovered I could write poetry in 8th grade English. I was a football player and a trouble maker. I was embarrassed to tell anyone. About a year ago I wrote my gf a poem just off the top of my head and it was the first time I saw her cry. I started writing poetry at fist but love the greats, Cube, Pac and Em. I like those that are deep and write their own shit. My favorite verse is Ice Cubes in straight outta compton. He wrote most all their sh*t and in my opinion his verse is the greatest. I still get hype from that and dedicate my first song to him. That verse gave me the inspiration to pick up the pen. Rap/Hip Hop is on of the only genres that doesn’t see color. That is what I love about it.
