From 6 months old to 3, I lived through 12 different foster homes. At 4, my uncle took me in and gave me the closest thing I had to stability.
By 9, I was in the streets trying to survive and support myself. What people didn’t see was that I was also building the mindset that would eventually become my music.
For the past 3 years, I’ve been writing, turning pain, struggle, mistakes, losses, and lessons into something bigger than myself. Then I spent 2½ years incarcerated in the Indiana Department of Correction.
Those years didn’t end my dream—they made it stronger.
Now I’m here to turn everything I’ve lived through into music that people can feel, relate to, and remember.
My goal isn’t just to make songs. I’m building a legacy. I want to create something my family and homies can be proud of, while leaving a name behind that the whole world eventually knows.
My name is Prestyn Shockley.
But the world knows me as Grand P.
I survived my past.
