2nd Verse: He's super duper dark but he says he "don't date dark skinned girls"/ I'm like, really, "why you say you don't date dark skinned girls"?/he's like, why're you getting offended your light skin is a beautiful thing, he said "you gotta feel it"/ and I'm sittin' & listenin'- this sickening- I'm witnessing some black dudes adopting what whites have always said about them and using it against their own/ I swear I'm in the twilight zone/ I said, let me get this straight let me bring it back home...Let me get this straight, so her dark skin is offensive to you, but yours is ok? *laughs*...ok...if I could put a laughing emoji in this song I'd set it right here in this place...
