Life is hard
Hope I make it,
It’s a risk,
But I’ll take it,
Feeling like I’m living
Stuck in the basement,
I’m just trying
To get a higher placement,
Life is hard,
But I’ll make it,
I can’t wait a long time
I’m anxious,
I’ve just gotta get off
The pavement,
So they hear me across
The nation,
Life is hard.

Trap music developed during the period of the 90s to 2000s, typically in the south of the US. It is usually recognised by the beat involving hi-hats, bass drum and synthesisers. Lyrically, themes involve typical violence, club life, drug culture and street life.

Trap

Gangsta rap evolved from the mid-80s from hardcore rap, mainly defined by the lyrical content about gangsta lifestyle usually based on crime and violence.
