Most time she worked 2 or 3 jobs to keep the lamp lit on my home work And most the time we had electric, other times me n my lil brother accepted mom gone so I learned how the wood burning stove worked... I didn’t hold resentment for no one that was life And mom did All she could, she even played dad too... bad moods but just cause she was tired so we loved her for that too... She always made sure I had a Walkman and some tunes she’d get me all types of music I’d play dear mama to make her smile and Eminem when I’d lose it She wrote poetry, and I thought that was cool too how she could flow all those words together in a way to touch your heart and they rhymed too Man every time I’d lose my way I’d fade away jot some lines in my notebook those were my real feelings on the cover said don’t look... I was ashamed because to me poetry didn’t seem all that manly... Skip forward A few years I feel like the man Of this land... I’m a rap king... I grew comfort in rap confidence when I’d scrap I’d be thinking of fight songs... I lost very few... they found out soon that Mike ain’t t the right one to check nuts with our try huh... I never resorted to violence but I’d fight back when I had to... I had nothing to prove, fast fists and mad moves that lo p was a bad dude.... and I love that I was subjected to so much to tunes and submerged in the music...
