A Covid Kind of Christmas
Feelin bad for the kids this holiday season... needed to get my feelings out about it. Hope you're holding tightly to who you are able to have near you. Prayers for a blessed Christmas, even if it's in dark times. đ (lyrics below) Unh.... Its that Holiday season yo... But it just don't feel like it... Feels like somethins missin... Yeah... Feelin the pain of that separation The lonely that creeps in when We lose our freedom The pandemic stealin Family and friends from beneath us Curfew upon our heads Keepin us Indoors and locked in tight Boogie man virus is creepin up tonight Please, does anyone know if Santa Claus is all right? Is he aware of our Covid plight? He's been maskin up when he's around the elves, right? Just checkin mate! And what about mrs Claus, is she doin ok? Have the Elves been disinfecting the sleigh? We don't want that virus getting in the way Of the packages getting delivered for Christmas Day.... And what about the Easter bunny while we're at it? Anyone know if he's been infected? Is he the one who makes the chocolate? "No honey, he's just a rabbit" Crazy though, how these thoughts come to me Buried deep in my connectivity From where could they be coming?
