I remember them nights/ i was posted by the Street lights/ tryna get my rocks off/ before i left the block / kept them heaters on deck / cause a jack boy tried/ he getting bruised tonight/ from Lowesville to Vantine ain’t no rules to life/ i grew up shaking the dice/ never been the type to back down or run from a fight / if he was bigger than me he getting hit with a pipe/ or stabbed with a knife/ I might of been wrong/ but the shit was only right/ he chose to gamble with his life/ now he losing right / left him stretched out / ICU tonight/ if you choose this life/ I ain’t from VA / but they calling me bad news/ run up if you want /you goin think I worked for duke power/ when I knockout ya lights/ I ain’t claiming to be bad but that’s just my life
