The Ode G-Ma

Hey guys its Story telling time Yup One time when i was young My great grandma died And i held the feelings inside I didnt realize how much the pain really stung At the time Her life was over and mine just begun I wish to live till 101 Being her only great grandson I didnt have the funds to save her But i know in my heart she met the savior She took advantage of what god gave her full of love when she met the maker This ode is to me completing my major So i can feel accomplished later In life with my two kids and future wife I want to be able to strive For perfection No matter what direction I take hopefully it wont be a surprise And i can see the upsides But right now my life is upside down In this small colorado town Smoking weed by the pounds Legalized by the democratic crowd Im not proud Of what ive become But this situation is better than having my thumb Up my ass im actually going to class Now its all on me to pass Last time i preferred smoking hash Hopefully i dont relapse Im not trying to act rash But rap is more fun than math Im an addict but i just laugh Im sporadic with my craft Its tragic how much crack Is magically found in the CSU wolf pack To fill in the gaps Colorado State is where i made the pact To go to school now to get back on track With the story sorry for the random fact One day i picked up a sack 6 grams put on the passenger side floor Under the dash With two mango zig zag wraps We burned through two grams Im Not sure how much time elapsed A cop pulls up i step on the gas Pedal flooring it until you just hear a smash I hit a trash can and relaxed I see the officer drive past I dont know exactly What i was doing that Night but my great grandma made sure i was alright Despite of what people say about the afterlife My grandma made me see the light I said to myself "turnpike From now on no wrongs only rights." If my gma saw me now i dont think she could stand the sight Im sorry grandma i love and miss you.
