Peaceful Revolution

I had a difficult time with this song I’m writing , from my own personal pain with my uncles brutality years ago the pain my family and friends have shared with me and what I’ve witnessed as a kid, I tried to express myself through this next song because I’m lost in how to start and it helped me to find some better ways of dealing with my anger. I do not know if it will be on any kind of streaming platforms but if for any reason it is and if for any reason it somehow garner funds I will be making donations to funds like the George Floyd Memorial and others like it. This song is my anger and heart combined to help you. I will never know the pain of racism, but I have witnessed it from a young boy growing up in providence and then again moving to Warwick, and if I can even give a small whisper a of a voice to those that were silenced then that’s what this is. My uncle was mentally handicapped and suffered same fate as George and I have been bleeding to find a way to pour my heart out, my two aunts both asked me what I’m gonna do when the cameras are off ? How am I gonna use the passion and the pain and trauma from my experiences to make a difference ... I am still learning but this was my first step I am open to talking to anyone and please understand my passion for this does not mean I hate you it only means the rage I feel for injustice surpasses all other minor inconveniences. Not getting into that now... This next song is for all those that don’t have a voice or voice was silenced, I’m praying this is my beginning to start making a difference and to start getting out and putting my money where my mouth is. #icantbreathe #protestmusic #peacefulrevolution #justiceforgeorge #blacklivesmatter
