I am a master of deception, So many ways in which to alter your perception, Create a maze so that you lose all sense of direction, Until a haze fogs up your full span of attention. It’s advisory you stay away from me for your own protection, Do I speak honestly or poison your mind like an infection?   On reflection my perception is tainted, Over my own eyes deception is painted. If I can fool myself then you could never understand, If I speak truthfully regarding the cards held in my hand. This wasn’t planned, I hoped to forward my thoughts of being a master, But once I start to write my thoughts become a twisted disaster. Each time I write a line the next comes to me even faster, Yet still the blurring mindset I’m in grows forever vaster. Sporadic tendencies are undoubtedly sprouting out of me, The voices in my head are louder now; they shout at me. Is this a reflection of my mental stability? Or is it yet another part of my ability? Is it one of my personas or the real me? Or just a demonstration of my versatility? You’ll never know, as I’m a master of deception, So many ways in which to alter your perception Perpetually placed between a plague of personas, Every alter ego alternates a new aroma, Duplicating different doppelgangers on a daily basis, Through art of fabrication I can forge fictitious faces. Working with multiple stencils possesses potential to be detrimental, It was fine when these copies of mine were of few and all written in nothing but pencil. With a separate persona per person it’s not difficult to then make a mistake, And after a while I forget which smile is real and which ones are fake. It’s hard to remember which one of me I’ve designated to each individual, For those who think that they know me know no more than that single personality’s residual. Compiled combinations of character qualities, Used to infuse recipes for other colonies, Follow me, take a step deep into my mind, And meet another thousand of me at the same time.
