While I was sifting through memories I was breaking down with intensity, Reaching for someone to rescue me I was requesting a rest from reliving reality Picking up pieces people perpetually pulled from me I've been Sensibly suspicious of the sexuality scarring me so savagely Independently increasing my lifes expectancy exponentially I became my only buddy, but I belittled, beat and bullied me You can't trade a life for the one you wish you had And you can't stop the demons creeping from your past But you can grow through what you go through You can pave a different path I know that it's hard, but believe me that I do understand I barely, busted the belt that was begging to burry me So battered by the life that built me that I became my enemy Breaking down walls I built is now my responsibility So I can finally be the person, the person who is boasts in pride of me Look at me now they call me the empathyst Livin my life in a way that noone else could predict Love in within yourself is where the true strength exisits How far you can go in life is beyond what past predicts You can't trade a life for the one you wish you had And you can't stop the demons creeping from your past But you can grow through what you go through You can pave a different path I know that it's hard, but believe me that I do understand
