GROWTH

I was talking with the old me but he doesnt even know me think I'm growing and realizing that nobody owns me but also that nobody owes me I'm not indebted to depression not devoted to regression it doesnt matter about my first impression what only matters is the present On birthdays we gets presents but gifts are just a little segment of how we are so self incorporated nobody watches we claim were under rated people are honest we claim were violated people move on we claim were outdated that we are expired but can still bring fire yet we start to perspire when everything goes haywire and when our friends require assistance we grow tired of all the stress acquired get thrown in circles like a washer and dryer come out with new attire worship our phones more than God but we dont call it sire I wish these statements were more satire but the moment life goes bad and we get a flat tire we need to get a jumpstart, oil change or hot wire I've been running up on em like a track star, they call themselves receivers but they cant catch these bars, I pass them in the outside lane like I'm nascar, and bullets get stuck to them like they're wearing tar Like a kamikaze, I'm spraying and praying but I'm passing the baton cause God is only relating to the darkest parts I faced, thanks to satan but I've been rising like the sun, now who is the greatest Power Those who have it are either the bravest or the cowards They lack confidence so instead their voices just get louder They make prideful choices Based off the voices That tell them they are always right that makes them ripe but sour See appearances ain’t everything The prettiest faces don’t mean they can sing The scars on someone’s face doesn’t mean their mean It could be another reason for a loss of self esteem They think their clean Like chlorine in a pool But they are hiding dirt underneath So their face turns green They got chlorophylled With ideas that seem The right thing to do But you’ll still lose in a OT   You think it’s a game of blackjack You turn 21 and burn cash Get put in the race of life but get off track When you realize the wheels never were attach You crash and get put back at the bottom You wake up your hurt in a hospital Cause no ones there to feed you like when you were little Digging for gold in you like George Kittle Forty nine is the number of times we done wrong Seven times seventy is the time were forgiven of it all When the sun comes up our shadows stand tall But it doesn’t stay there  It whispers in your ear Life is not fair Oh shots fired wait it’s a flare Take a shot at me  honestly I don’t care It’s just more ammo for me to spare Every bullet that comes out of the barrel Is another penetration of my bone marrow I bend bows like a bow with arrows When it’s released I look like a pharaoh My arms are bent like the frames of a photo Load up the ammo take a couple rounds And pow pow pow until I’m down I keep beating till I’m on the ground For things I didn’t say but keep coming around I dig holes and dig burrows  If only you could see how Im hurt tho My whole life goes in reversal Then I fast forward and don’t realize where’d I go I dont worry about tomorrow as long as I know where my heart goes, I wont go solo Yolo with the high Hope's too dope, you dont want the smoke holy flow, Christ and my life on the microphone give him control so I hit those flows I dont miss no more God help me to get better I was made for more than just being a regretter You fight all my battles and you have never lost at any cost I will give it my all until the day I fall and rise above them all
