We live in a country divided, Race, religion colliding, Acts of terror, We have breaking news, tuning in, Got you scared, Now your hiding, wont leave your house, Scared of dyin', While people protest n riot, But words n actions are different, Instead of coming together, Jus blame the pres. Like it matters, wanting change, Different chapter, But got no one to write it, But that's bullshit, We got the pen n pad to ignite it, Brand new horizon, Swallow ignorance and push your pride to the side, We are better than this, Can amount to much more than this, Instead we shoot at each other, Lashing out, Dont agree with someone's race or religion? We were made to be different, Not spit n image, You bigots, So as I spit this, hope you see it, Reflect and change up your image Make a difference, Fuck oppression, Dont matter white skin or black, Muslim or Christian, Hispanic, gay, bi, or les, You have the same rights to express, Jus be yourself, In the pursuit of happiness So listen I was never one to be politically correct, Say what's on my chest, Dont matter truth or in jest, never regret, I wear an artistic license, Only way to express, Under the war battered flag, That people died to protect, I'm jus being honest, While the lies n protests, bombardin', Crazy news headlines, Got this fire started, blinded, And your selfish, cold hearted, Claim to love our troops, But never help em, Come home to celebration, Next day your backs are to em! It bullshit, No VA help, so many homeless, Battling mental illness, Instead of meds its rejection, Depression, Instead of changing your actions, You jus learned to accept it, Hope you sleep at night, I know I dont, That right there's a fucked up lesson!
