Everyone saying you have the liberty to vote and as an American it's your duty to vote I believe as an American it's your duty to stand and fight for the truth. But what becomes the truth when you've been lied to about your own countries history and little by little we are stripped of our rights what do we do then? Who to vote for Trump or Hillary, Watching America being laughed at through all their bickering, Friends cutting eachother off because of political differences is sickening, The leaders of the world are smiling as the plot is thickening, But you have to vote for republican or Democrat, you expect me to believe the nonsense you spat, It's either monopolize the economy or give benefits to spoiled brats, Either one voted in other countries will look at us as a doormat, But with all the killing cops doing expect to give them a pat on the back, Which one of these parties actually care about the Spanish and black? Who if not even a black president will truely have our back, But you honestly expect me to believe you'll be going to Canada with your things packed, It's a cold world but this time it won't be a cold war, Nuclear weapons aimed at our front door, Both are rich who don't really care for the poor, When all the damage is done who will mop the blood of the floor, The woman with health problems or the man with a toupee, At the end of this which countries will we have to pay, How many times will we be silenced until we have a say, How many deaths until the police put their guns away, How many atheist telling us we don't have to pray, Regardless if I'm conservative or even liberal, I can still see a war breaking out even if it's civil, What if we didn't vote and stood in the middle, If you think about what I said it's all just one big riddle, The puppets move according to plan as the master fiddles, But this is where I grab my knife and cut the strings, Because hate ignorance and confusion is all this brings, How can we say we are free when we haven't flapped our wings, Calling someone a traitor as the anthem they sing, Lady Liberty was proposed to by Uncle Sam but where's the ring, It seems they weren't serious and it just so happenend to be a fling, Small business don't own a single thing, while larger corporations have dollar signs in their eyes screamimg Cha ching, To be honest we aren't safe in this nation, and you can look all around with no hesitation, Business booming through races afraid of gentrification, Why are murderers dressed as cops only getting probation, This country has already lost sight of its roots and foundation, No I'm not talking about the patriotism and trade of a slave, I'm talking about America the rave, So this year I won't vote for neither, I'm just better of voting for satan or the grim reeper,
