me love, me know your not loyal
but what of, I can't live you, you know
my love is true if yours is not
I will cry but I won't show
I regret but I do it again
my heart is numb but not dead
don't think I'm a bed when u come to rest
I still love you even if you never know
I pray even if you never call, baby
my heart is still waiting, waiting

Trap music developed during the period of the 90s to 2000s, typically in the south of the US. It is usually recognised by the beat involving hi-hats, bass drum and synthesisers. Lyrically, themes involve typical violence, club life, drug culture and street life.

Trap

Gangsta rap evolved from the mid-80s from hardcore rap, mainly defined by the lyrical content about gangsta lifestyle usually based on crime and violence.

Classic hip-hop originates from the 80s, pushing through to the 90s and early 2000s. The flow is normally more simple and often has a slower tempo.
