so chief judge is not elected, well we have the supreme Court, nomination process though, they get grilled by the legislative branch, we I've been grooming India since at least the late 90s

also it is important to understand democracy in India is fairly new like and it's still growing, our Constitution is flexible and sturdy at the same
but no matter what the constitution and the votes of the people finally matter they can bring whenever they want
which may give them power to corrupt
and they can transfer judges too
like the president on the advice of Prime minister selects Chief Judge or our highest court here
which is granted by our Constitution

well there's one major difference which affects out democracy a bit
@Kulfirapper how strong and pure do you think your government is? Is there corruption? how would you compare it to the democracy of the u.s.?
