reflection: the throwing back by a body or surface of light, heat, or sound without absorbing it everywhere I look with out a mirror I can still see my reflection there thru the stare of that man sitting on the corner step saw myself at the age of 18 didn't have a place to sleep, didn't have a bed never had a pillow to rest my head growing up it was always life or death growing up it was always life or death situations as I kept walking to my destination saw another part of me only this time it was a loving family brought me back to the time my whole family was living in the same apartment building anyways where I'm heading I already know it's where I'm meant to be I'm not trying to make you feel sad I just want to show you others pain n suffering others reality everywhere you go, everywhere you look reflections follow like a full moon everywhere you go, everywhere you look reflection follows like your shadow too reflective surfaces shows the you who others view praying to god you dont get misunderstood riding thru the hood reminiscing all the times that were good hanging out with your homies we were one brotherhood moving in life to what is now parenthood spending time in the booth making music to be understood yes I like smoking kush yes i like drinking too sometimes i just miss my childhood I'm just glad I made it out the hood living good, eating good I just want my mother to know I love you with all my heart I cant wait to see you everywhere you go, everywhere you look reflections follow like a full moon everywhere you go, everywhere you look reflection follows like your shadow too
