" Run to the Cross " {Interlude} Decisions have come and gone- moments done and lost. & I Shaved the stones that were thrown to cast lots. Its -a 50/50 toss- a' easy win -or- a' hard loss; My thoughts equate to the sum of the price of cost. Equal to two thieves on either side of the cross. One cried out to the Son but the other one denied God. It seems my bindings have no keys for their locks... & I'm Stuck in a hard place where the path turns' to rocks- I'm on a sprint to sin, when I should run to the cross. My spirits a win, while my flesh is a loss. Temptations a test in self control of my thoughts. I'm set in my ways- w/ no new tricks for this old dog. &' If I don't repent, I know -I know Him not. Wasted time spent when tomorrow's not got. It was a hard pill to swallow as hallow as my casket dropped- When He spewed me out His mouth -cuz I wasn't cold or hot.
