I've been thinking I've been dreaming wishing that you could see what your lil girl has been achieving I wish somebody will fill your place but it ain't nothing like a father place its priceless the older that I'm getting the more I'm realizing jive I was just a baby when my dad cut me loose doin all these things for myself but to him I gotta prove when he walked out my life that was a setback but 16 years later I can finally accept that you couldn't man up you wasn't ready for no children at times I used to think that I was the reason you or mama still don't come around or try to call and I keep letting that bring me down I'm 16 now you can't and will not stop me ill never forget how you forgot me you left me in the dust and I am so very thankful for the family who came and picked me up you made me hate myself I thought that I did something wrong cuz I had no one else you act like you couldn't get a job from 9 to 5 just to try to put in a lil over time my life is on a mission I minds well make it a tradition im not gonna let you control it this is the hardest part of my decision this is my life and I finally exposed it ain't no more holding on imma just throw it all of the depression is gone
