We Were Strangers

my destiny become the brightest sun
shine like light of a star reach & touch everyone
hard times trying surpass a broken Past
felt constantly like crawling thru broken glass
surrounded by darkness with my soul almost gone
every life lesson shown 1 path handle my owns
defying the reality im suppose to believe
gave me exposure to who i'm suppose to be
