Look life is hard
Hope I make it lyk dat
It's a risk But I'm gonna take it
Feeling like I'm living, stuck in the basement yea
I'm gonna get a higher placement
Life is hard
But I'll make it
I can't wait a long time
I'm anxious
I'vegotta get off The fucking pavement
So they hear me across their statement
we now gonna say
Life is hard

Trap music developed during the period of the 90s to 2000s, typically in the south of the US. It is usually recognised by the beat involving hi-hats, bass drum and synthesisers. Lyrically, themes involve typical violence, club life, drug culture and street life.

Gangsta rap evolved from the mid-80s from hardcore rap, mainly defined by the lyrical content about gangsta lifestyle usually based on crime and violence.
