Look life is hard
Hope I make it
It's a risk
But I'll take it
Feeling like I'm living, stuck in the basement
I'm just trying to get a higher placement
Life is hard
But I'll make it
I can't wait a long time
I'm anxious
I've just gotta get off
The pavement
So they hear me across
The nation
Life is hard
Don't play like a flute
U junk fool
I said it yeah it's true
Imma bust all over your coup
Dont try to sip I'm hotter than soup
Ayy Ayy Ayy Ayy
Look life is hard

Trap music developed during the period of the 90s to 2000s, typically in the south of the US. It is usually recognised by the beat involving hi-hats, bass drum and synthesisers. Lyrically, themes involve typical violence, club life, drug culture and street life.

Trap

Gangsta rap evolved from the mid-80s from hardcore rap, mainly defined by the lyrical content about gangsta lifestyle usually based on crime and violence.

Classic hip-hop originates from the 80s, pushing through to the 90s and early 2000s. The flow is normally more simple and often has a slower tempo.
