1st verse sung:
Lord, I’m down on my knees in need of grace and mercy. Take me back to my teens before the anxiety consumed us all and stole so many from me. I pray their souls you did keep, gold underneath all their feet.
Spoken prayer:
Lord, I come to you now and ask for your grace and mercy forgive us for we knew not what we were doing to ourselves we were lost and with you and you only are we found.
Chorus:
Where do you go? Are the streets made of gold? Can you call up my phone while I’m on this dirt road. And I don’t know if I can do this alone. Tell me where do I go when I’m missing my bro.
First track I ever recorded on this app. I felt like the music drowned out the lyrics a bit so I’m posting the lyrics. Other than that, can’t wait to continue writing, recording and publishing. Thanks for all the feedback.
Chorus:
Where did you go? Are the streets made of gold? Can you call up my phone while I’m on this dirt road? And I don’t know…if I can do this alone. Tell me where do I go when I’m missing my bro?
