All i wanted for my birthday was to make another song with him 🥹 2000 miles away is crazy distance 3 years without talking makes it feel farther than that. i broke down and called him after he had texted unexpectedly didn't say anything but 🎉🎊 i was mid memory and drunk and i must've clicked call and hung up 12 times before he called me and i made sure no ring went through. turns out he had been doing the same thing . he asked me what i wanted for my birthday and if i got it i said no " i just wish we could make another song together, i miss that " we chatted for a few minutes then he had to go :( i tried to sleep but couldn't so i stayed up and write this hook about how i was struggling not to call him, i woke up on my piano drooling on myself to someone banging in my front door like they were the cops or something i opened the door ready to scream at a mf and he was right there with his guitar and a back pack looking like 19 again turns out he took the redeye to detroit as soon as we hung up 😭 he said "how about that song?" like a fucking movie. even though we had to disguise his voice with ai for non disclosable reasons, it was the best present ever 🫂 that made my whole year i swear 😌and he's here till sunday 🥰 i wish i could tell you everything ! love you guys ty so much for listening 🫶🏼
