Quality over Quantity
This track deserved a video, even if RapFame didn’t think it was “feature worthy.” I posted it at 11:11 at night, and it still took FIRST PLACE in Beat of the Day. This is personal experience turned into music—boundaries, discernment, authenticity, my purpose, and learning who deserves access to my life. It’s about standing firm in who you are and deciding what you’ll accept. I know I’m not the only one who’s lived that. So yes, having my feature request turned down again—after spending $20 on it—is frustrating. I stand behind this track and what it says. A report card or someone else’s decision doesn’t get the final word on its value. And RapFame, artists paying for feature consideration deserve transparency about who makes those decisions, what the criteria are, and how conflicts of interest are handled. I made the video because I believe in the music. That hasn’t changed.
