dear reader part 2
dear reader Listen... How many names will the world forget? How many lessons haven't landed yet? How many years till we finally see That age isn't wisdom, and a title ain't free? The future is coming. It's closer than planned. The question is simple... Will you understand? [Verse 3 — Inner Strength & Survival] I've had ambitions that seemed far-fetched, Big dreams in a world that expects less. But solitude taught me to sit with my mind, Find strength in the places that others don't find. Even when the road leaves me battered and bruised, Even when hope feels like something I lose, I'll search through the silence, remember my name, And rise from the ashes without fear of the flame. And if you're out there with no strength left to give, If you're tired of fighting, just trying to live, Don't think your exhaustion means your story is through, There's still strength within me, and there's strength within you. When I have no strength, I'll find mine again, When you feel you've reached the end, rise again. I shall prevail; let that truth carry through, I shall prevail, and so shall you. [Outro ] Dear reader... Perhaps my name was never the point. Perhaps your title was never your purpose. Perhaps age was never the measure... And perhaps the greatest war we'll ever fight Is the one between what we've been taught... And what we're finally beginning to understand. So remember this: When the world forgets your name, When your strength runs low, When the road ahead is all you know... You are not finished. I shall prevail. AND SO SHALL YOU.
