Good Father
Terrance James - Good Father Proud Dad of a son with autism. Everyday wasn't easy, this is the story behind it. Lyrics Below. (HOOK) When you sleep I take a look at you And tell myself there's nothing that I wouldn't do The development you've made, Im amazed how far've you came You getting big now and times'll get tough I'd admit that, I wasn't that tough And things will get harder No matter what we going through, I wanna let you know that I'm just tryna be a good Father (VERSE 1) A nigga wasn't ready for the news Hearing that there's probably something wrong with you I didn't know what to do If I should blame me or blame it all on you A nigga bit confused, cuz we aint like that On some real shit, it took my pide back I didn't wanna hear "It's ok's" I was ready to fight back Any tears appearing where my eyes at Fake arguments cuz I aint wanna look at her He looking like me but I aint wanna look at her He may not speak, he may not be normal I couldn't breathe, we cant live life formal I'm getting angry and he cant help it We both going through it but Im the one selfish All this time Im asking God why He see me crying a lot, he said why not First time I ever question him I ain't built for everything that's effecting him And I aint know where to start, why you always making this hard It ain't enough that we black in this world Muu fuckers gonna turn they backs in the world Who gon' have his back in this world I got your back in this world (HOOK) Song written, performed, produced and mixed by me @terrancejames Team #Echelon
