No Rhyme Today
No Rhyme Today I left the crew, now I'm on my own. Not many people there were active anymore. I've been grinding mostly all alone, Making music, posting, pushing every song. Applied to a well-known crew, Wrote my story in the application too. No skill, recognition, achievements to show, But my love for this and will to grow are real though. Applied to two crews, but no reply, Guess I didn't make it, can't deny I'm frustrated inside. Maybe I burned some bridges with a lot of people, I was sick, but that doesn't erase what I'm responsible for. Today I'll worry a little less about rhyme, Without thinking about rhyme, I'd write this in no time. Not because rap without rhyme isn't rap, Not because that's what people keep saying as a fact. When I pick my rhymes, spit them, record them, I finally learned how naturally they blend in. Even when writing feels slow and hard to do, I keep my fingers and my brain moving through. Even if right now I'm tired and going through it, Even if today I can barely write the music, After all the hardships, I'm still standing here, And I'm grateful that I'm still making music here.
