shadows creeping

Shadows creeping, whispers in the night, Ghosts of the past, yeah, they ready for a fight, Pumpkin heads glowing, casting eerie light, Haunting my thoughts, can’t escape the fright. Chillin’ in the graveyard, echoes in my mind, Every tombstone tells a story, dark and unkind, Tricks and treats, but the tricks unwind, Life’s a masquerade, wear your mask, don’t be blind. Creeping through the streets, hear the howls of the lost, Fate’s a wicked game, you can’t escape the cost, Blood moon rising, feel the chill in the frost, In this haunted world, we’re the ones who pay the cost. Vampires lurking, searching for a bite, Nightmares in my dreams, can’t escape the sight, Fear’s a heavy cloak, wrapped up tight, On this Halloween eve, I’m ready for the fight.
