the beginning

Before the algorithms, before the digital storefronts, and before the corporate greenlights, there was just the pavement, the trunk-shaken vinyl, and the raw grit of an underground culture finding its voice. "The Beginning" is a history lesson straight from the source—tracing hip-hop's lineage from its roots in blues, jazz, and southern storytelling, through the trunk-sellers of Kmart and GI Joes, up to the West Coast pioneers who laid the foundation. Produced by Earl Dog (Funky Fresh Productions) with mixing, mastering, and overall execution by DFE, this track bridges the classic boom-bap era with modern production reality. It’s a tribute to the outcasts, the renegades, and the true OGs who built the culture when playing a tape in a residential area meant the cops showed up. The foundation is still standing. 🎛️🔥🎤
