I’m just here alone on this boat in the middle of the ocean My map is saying if I stay in motion there’s salvation if I push a little further, if I just get a little closer But I’m so tired and broken, the sunlight feels like torture Burning me up, I can’t move I am stuck Have I finally ran out of luck If I die here I honestly don’t give a fuck If this isn’t actually gold that I’ve struck why did it shine so fucking much And if it will decay into dust Then leave me here to perish I wanted the world to be cherished I thought it all just came from me caring But I can’t tell with the sun blaring Am I actually being marinated Is there anything real to what I’m creating Is it really world changing Is it really something amazing Or is the dream now just fading I guess we’ll see I will stay out here waiting Cuz if it’s not fake then it was worth the patience It was worth the pain then, if it’s not all for nothing I’m stuck out here dazed seeing islands, but now my eyes keep faking I want to give the world peace, but now I’m hoping I find a beach, cuz now I’m lost out at sea, one big wave might capsize me And then there now goes the dream, with my drowned out screams, bottom of the ocean it’s way to dark to even see I kick the bottom of the sea with my feet, shoot out the water I’m so high up several dozen feet, and I’m flying across the earth, and now being able to finally breathe, deep down I always knew that I’d succeed, I’ll be insane or I’ll save humanity, it’s all or nothing and I already felt like nothing so I’m ready to compete
