I wander through the shadows, where the light don’t gleam, In a world full of phantoms, lost inside a dream, Heart heavy as a boulder, sinking like a stone, Thoughts twisted like the vines, I’m trapped in my zone. Echoes of the past haunt me like a ghost, Silent screams in my mind, man, I’m feeling close, To the edge of a cliff, where the darkness thrives, Living in the twilight, where the lost souls dive. Cigarette smoke clouds, my vision’s all blurred, Chasing down the memories that I never heard, Life’s a cruel joke, and I’m the punchline, Searching for the light, but it’s hard to find.
