Verse 1 I wake up every day, I’m chasing my goal. I came from the low, now I’m taking control. I stay on my path, I don’t follow the crowd. I keep my head up, I’m making them proud. I work for my dreams, I’m ready to grow. I keep my feet down, but I’m ready to go. I know where I’m going, I’m chasing that life. I keep my eyes up, I’m ready to rise. Chorus Yeah, I been tryna live on top up there. I been running this city like the mayor. If you say you don’t like me, I don’t care. I keep moving up, I’m going to higher. I got my own lane, I’m staying right there. I came for the top, I’m not playing fair. I keep chasing my dream, I’m going somewhere. Verse 2 I been on my grind, I been working all day. I keep my eyes open, I watch what they say. I came with a dream, now I’m making it real. I know what I want, I know what I feel. I don’t need fake love, I don’t need fake friends. I keep moving forward, I go to the end. I came from the bottom, I’m aiming up high. I keep chasing my dream till I touch the sky. I know life gets hard, but I still keep pace. I take every step, I don’t run from the race. I got my own way, I got my own plan. I’m building my name, I’m becoming a man.
