Dead Wrong

0:00

This is as story of how I grew up. I grew up in the projects as a White/Mexican teen with no food in the icebox, I started off boosting meat from the store and selling it to my community, then I sold drugs and had to be careful when I walked home from school. My Mama always told me that I was wrong for selling drugs in our community, and that being poor was no excuse to do evil. My friend was shot and killed by a stray bullet while he was playing video games. The community hired a hitter to find the fool that did it, and he was killed within a week. But the problems only got worse..the police came around constantly after that and never helped anyone, only helped their own ego...So I carry a gun, know that I will die one day, but the little comfort of heavy metal in my pocket keeps my head up while I walk.
